Prior to joining the firm, Dan served four years on active duty in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s (JAG) Corps. Captain Tracy’s first assignment was at the military prison at Fort Leavenworth Kansas, where he was a prosecutor and legal advisor to the commandant and commander of the 705th Military Police Brigade. Captain Tracy was next assigned to the Army’s Trial Defense Service, where he represented soldiers charged with crimes at courts-martial and in administrative proceedings. Dan is a graduate of the Army’s Airborne School, and Northern Warfare Training Center. He was also awarded the Meritorious Service Medal.
Dan is currently the Atlantic County Bar Association Secretary and serves as chairperson of the bar association’s scholarship committee. He is a member of the Sons of the American Revolution and is active in assisting military veterans. In January 2015, Dan successfully summited Mount Kilimanjaro, in Tanzania, Africa, on a trip sponsored by the Military Assistance Project, a veterans advocacy group based in Philadelphia.
Dan is a graduate of Loyola University (Maryland), where he earned a degree in accounting, and a graduate of Rutgers School of Law. He has also successfully completed various courses at the U.S. Army JAG School at the University of Virginia, and at the Department of Justice’s National Advocacy Center.
